Johnny B 1 2

Johnny B. - Drums and Vocals

John Bartolotto A.K.A. “Johnny B.” began his career at the tender age of 4 years old. He would sit at his parents table teaching himself how to play the drums. Once his parents realized he was determined to play music, his father brought home his first drum set and put him into drum lessons.

He played his first gig at the age of 13 in a bar in Long Beach, CA. Because of his age he had to wait outside the bar during his breaks and his band members would stay with him.

In the early 70's Johnny B. became a member of the Orange County Circuit Band “Shakee Jake.” He then moved on to join the C.B.S. Recording Band “Streek.” which had hits on the famous Billboard Charts during 1979 to 1980. In 1980's he played with“The TelStars,”

During the 1990's and 2000's he played and sang with Donny Simmons (Lead Guitar) and Mark Fry (Bass) of “Wicked World” - “MO50” (Musicians over 50) - “The Tracy G. Group” and last butnot least “Road Work.”

In 2016 Johnny B. took a break from music so that he and his other half Brenda could take care of his mother Pauline up until her death in 2016. His mother was not only his greatest fan and best friend she also was a musician (Hawaiian Guitar) and supported him unconditionally throughout his career.

Now Johnny B. is ready to Rock and Roll again with Trick Dog.
